A compact and light weight 1000 ws flash / strobe monolight (aka self contained head), which is on par with the Profoto 8A and Pro-10 packs, especially as we have upgraded ours with Quartz Flashtubes.
With burst mode, super short flash durations, HSS to 1/8000s, and AirTTL make this monolight a powerful tool to have on any shoot.

Profoto Specified operating Conditions

• Intended for indoor photographic use.
• Do not place or use the equipment where it can be exposed to moisture, extreme
  electromagnetic fields, or in areas with flammable gases or dust.
• Do not expose the D2 to hasty temperature changes.
• The Profoto D2’s have an operating temperature of 0°C to 30°C (+32°F to +104°F).
